As many as 24 licenses were approved in connection with the foreign investment from the beginning of the current Iranian year (from March 20, 2020) to June 16, Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade of Iran Saeed Zarandi said at a press conference, Trend reports citing IRIB.
The deputy minister emphasized that this is an increase of 19 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year.
Zarandi added that foreign investments have been made in Iran's Isfahan, Alborz, Tehran and Sistan and Baluchestan provinces for three months.
According to deputy minister, the value of foreign investment during the period amounted to 440 million euros.
"The investment of Iranians living abroad will be used in the implementation of many projects in Iran in the current year (began March 20, 2020)," he said.
