Bank of Georgia sees increase in movable and immovable property

BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 4

Movable and immovable property appropriated by the Bank of Georgia amounted to 104.47 million lari ($32.3 million) in the third quarter of 2020 against 83.81 million lari ($25.9 million) in the same period of last year, Trend reports via Georgian media.

It’s worth mentioning that the total assets of the Bank of Georgia reached 19.34 billion lari ($5.9 billion) in the relevant period. In the second quarter of 2019, the bank’s total assets amounted to 16.21 billion lari ($5.01 billion).

According to the data for the third quarter of 2020, the movable and immovable property appropriated by the five largest banks such as Georgia Bank, TBC, Liberty Bank, VTB Bank, and Basisbank amounted to 213.62 million lari ($66.05 million).
