The banks and credit organizations of Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic issued the loans to legal entities and individuals in the amount of about 153.8 million manat ($90 million) from January through October 2020, Trend reports with reference to the report of the State Statistics Committee of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
This indicator reflects an annualized growth of 1.4 times.
In accordance with the data, 16.2 million manat ($9.5 million) or 10.5 percent of the issued loans are short-term loans and 137.6 million manat ($80.9 million) or 89.5 percent are long-term loans.
The gross domestic product (GDP) in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic increased by 0.9 percent from January through October 2020 compared to the same period of last year and amounted to 2.3 billion manat ($1.3 billion).
The volume of GDP per capita in Nakhchivan increased by 1.9 percent from January through October 2020 compared to the same period of 2019 and amounted to about 5,000 manat ($2,941).
