The nominal income of the Azerbaijani population in 2020 decreased compared to 2019, Trend reports citing a report by the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee.
According to the State Statistics Committee, the nominal income of the Azerbaijani population amounted to 55.7 billion manat ($32.8 billion) from January through December 2020, which is 1.8 percent less than in 2019.
The nominal per capita income in Azerbaijan decreased by 2.5 percent and amounted to 5,587.6 manat ($3,286.8) in 2020.
The nominal volume of GDP in 2020 in the country amounted to 72.4 billion manat ($42.6 billion), which is 4.3 percent less than in 2019.
In accordance with the statistics, the volume of GDP in the non-oil sector amounted to 50.8 billion manat ($29.9 billion) from January through December 2020, which is 2.6 percent less than in 2019.
GDP per capita for 2020 amounted to almost 7,262.8 manat ($4,272.2), decreasing by five percent compared to 2019.
After the payment of all mandatory and voluntary payments, the population’s remaining income reached 50.7 billion manat ($29.8 billion), which is also 2.9 percent less than in 2019.
