Foreign investments to be made in Iran's Hamadan Province

A Turkish construction company will invest $72 million to build a residential complex in the Hamadan Province (western Iran), director general of the Economic Affairs and Finance Department of Hamadan Province Nasser Mahmoudi told journalists, Trend reports citing IRNA.

According to him, the amount of the mentioned investment is projected to reach $100 million.

Mahmoudi added that in addition, a German company has invested $2.9 million in electricity generation for the residential complex. The construction of a 7-megawatt power plant will be completed at a total cost of $8.8 million.

The director general noted that a facility for French fries production is being built in Hamadan Province with the investments of a Qatari company. There is 70 percent progress in the construction of this facility.

“So far, 9 facilities have been launched in Iran's Hamadan Province at the expense of foreign investments. A total of 1,300 people were provided with jobs with an investment of $85 million,” he said.

Mahmoudi emphasized that currently, 3 more facilities are under construction with an investment of $91 million.

So far, $4 million has been invested in it. In general, 570 people will be employed with the launch of these facilities.
