The consumer price index (CPI) in Azerbaijan increased by 4.5 percent from January through July 2021, compared to the same period of 2020, Trend reports citing the State Statistical Committee.
At the same time, CPI for food, beverages, and tobacco products rose by 5.1 percent, non-food products - by 4.1 percent, chargeable services to the population - by 3.9 percent.
The CPI in July 2021 rose by 0.9 percent compared to June 2021 and by 6 percent compared to July 2020.
