Azerbaijan sees rise in value of produced goods, services in 7M2021

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Aug.18

The value of produced goods and services in Azerbaijan from January to July 2021 grew, Trend reports referring to the State Statistical Committee's report.

According to the report, this showing amounted to 27.6 billion manat ($16.2 billion), which is 2.9 percent more than in the first seven months of last year.

The cost of products sold and services rendered by business entities in the private sector increased by 2.6 percent on annual basis and amounted to 26.5 billion manat ($15.6 billion), of which 47.4 percent fell on the activities of individuals.

Average costs per consumer amounted to 393.1 manat ($231.2) per month, which is 25.7 manat ($15.1) more than the same period in 2020.

Earlier, the World Bank predicted the growth of the consumer market in Azerbaijan by 3.7 percent in 2021, 3.6 percent in 2022, and 3.5 percent in 2023.
