The International Monetary Fund (IMF) expects annual inflation growth in Azerbaijan in 2021, Trend reports with reference to the IMF.
According to the fund, this figure will amount to 3.5 percent, up by 0.7 percentage points compared to last year.
IMF reminded that by the end of 2020, inflation in Azerbaijan averaged 2.8 percent.
According to IMF forecasts, annual inflation in the country will decrease by 0.3 percentage points in 2022-2023 compared to this year and will amount to 3.2 percent.
Earlier, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan forecasted an inflation rate of four percent for 2021.
