BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 3. Fees on the mandatory non-life insurance market in Azerbaijan amounted to 60.8 million manat ($35.7 million), or 16.95 percent of all fees in the insurance market from January through April 2022, Trend reports via the report of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
According to the report, real estate insurance fees in the reporting period grew by 7.94 percent compared to the same period in 2021, up to 30.18 million manat ($17.75 million), or 49.63 percent of all non-life insurance.
Meanwhile, the collected premiums for civil liability insurance of vehicle owners totaled 29.9 million manat ($17.6 million), having increased by 4.41 percent on annual basis.
In the first four months of this year, insurance compensation payments for all types of mandatory non-life insurance reached 29.8 million manat ($17.5 million), or 31.91 percent of all payments on the insurance market.
