BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 4. Iran's foreign debts amounted to about $8.67 billion from the beginning of the last Iranian year (March 21, 2021) to the end of the 12th month (March 21, 2022), Trend reports via the statistics of the Central Bank of Iran (CBI).

According to the statistics, Iran's short-term debt stands at about $2.5 billion, while the long-term is at about $6.17 billion.

In terms of euros, Iran's foreign debt amounted to 7.86 billion euros within the mentioned period. Of this, 2.26 billion euros is short-term debt, while 5.59 billion euros is long-term debt, the statistics said.

"Over last Iranian year (March 21, 2021, through March 20, 2022), Iran's non-oil exports amounted to about 123 million tons worth $48.6 billion, while imports amounted to 41.2 million tons worth $53 billion," the statistics said.
