BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 19. Iran attracted $65 million worth of foreign investments within the framework of 8 projects in Razavi Khorasan Province, (north-eastern Iran), during the first six months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through September 22, 2022), Director General of Economic Affairs and Finance Department of Razavi Khorasani Province Reza Khajeh Naeini told IRNA, Trend reports.

The director general emphasized that about 88 percent of foreign investors investing in the province are Afghan citizens. Other investors are from Russia, Pakistan and the Netherlands.

“Currently, Iran Investment Promotion Agency) is working on the approval of documents in order to attract investment worth $81 million within the framework of 8 projects,” he added.

In general, Iranian Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade has given the green light to foreign investments worth about $382 million into the country, oriented on selected 73 projects, in 6 months.
