BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 31. In total, 40.7 trillion rials (about $970 million) worth of loans have been issued by Iran’s Maskan Bank for the purpose of repairing and renovating 14,968 old houses in the country since the current Iranian government came to power (August 2021), head of the bank Ali Asghari said, Trend reports citing Iranian Ministry of Roads and Urban Development.
Asghari said that the issuance of loans for the purpose of repairing and renovating old houses in the country has been started since March 21, 2019. So far, applications have been registered for receiving loans for the repairing of 38,925 houses.
“In total, 59.8 trillion rials (about $1.42 billion) worth of loans were issued for the repair and renovation of 38,354 houses,” he added.
The official also noted that 19 trillion rials (about $452 million) worth of loans were issued for the repair and renovation of 23,957 houses in the country from March 21, 2019 to August 22, 2021.
