Activation of the new e-commerce affiliate program on the website Sizinmarket.Az has been postponed to early next year, head of Small Entrepreneurship Development and Promotion Public Association Agil Babayev told Trend on Friday.

The program is a new partnership in AzNET where the partner acts as the intermediary between the buyer and the seller of goods or services and receives a commission for his or her services.

Entering and taking part in the program starts with registration in the affiliate program, opening a special internal account, and getting a personal affiliate link. The client clicks the link and enters the seller's website. The seller's database includes the account that the client entered via the link. If the client enters the link, makes a purchase, or orders and pays for a service, then the payment for commission is transferred to the partner's special account.

According to Babayev, the delay in works is connected with the lack of further funding for the project. At present, the activities of the portal have been suspended for technical reasons.

Initially, the project was launched with financial assistance from the Council of State Support to NGOs under Azerbaijani President.

The project aims to support entrepreneurs through e-resources, creating virtual representations for companies and supporting e-commerce development.

The future plans of the public association also include creating a mobile version of the portal.
