Aztelekom Production Association of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies has increased the number capacity of the regional phone network for 57,076 numbers, the ministry said.
According to the ministry, roughly 51,828 units of the total numbers, used in Ganja, Kurdamir, and Salyan, are based on the NGN technology (Next Generation Network). The remaining numbers are used in Oguz, Gakh, Masalli, Ismayilli, Tovuz and Shamkir. The total number of ports of broadband access, used in all these areas amounted to 5,092 units.
