The crypto-security of the e-signatures issued in Azerbaijan by the National Certification Center will be increased, a source in the IT market of the country told Trend.
According to the information, the new method of encryption will be implemented allowing a new level of security.
“Implementation of the new method is expected in the second quarter of 2018,” the source said.
Number of e-signatures issued by the national certification center exceeds 120,000.
The e-signature simplifies access to the e-services of state organizations via the e-government web-portal.
From a total of 436 approved e-services, 335 are currently integrated to the web-portal.
A three-year e-signature costs 18 manats for Azerbaijani citizens, while for individuals and legal entities engaged in entrepreneurial activity the cost is 36 and 72 manats, respectively.
