The number of payment cards of Azerpoct LLC increased by almost 5 percent in August-September 2018 and exceeded 120,000, the company told Trend Oct. 18.
According to Azerpoct, over the past period, the number of cards has increased by more than 5,000.
Azerpoct is a principal member of the international payment system MasterCard.
The postal operator launched financial services in 2012 in accordance with the license of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan. Over 1,200 postal offices of the company have been given the opportunity to provide all types of banking services (except for issuing loans and attracting deposits) under the license of the Central Bank.
