The total amount of the rendered information and communication services in Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic reached 21.9 million manat ($12.9 million) from January through May 2020, Trend reports referring to the report of the State Statistics Committee of the autonomous republic.
According to the committee, the cost of ICT services increased by 1.9 percent from January through May 2020 compared to the same period of last year.
The amount of mobile communication services reached 17.4 million manat ($10.2 million) which is by two percent more compared to last year.
As of June 1, 2020, the number of bank accounts opened in the banks of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic reached 87,692, of which 76,879 or about 88 percent are active. Some 15,926 of 15,936 bank accounts opened from January through May 2020 are active.
The number of POS terminals installed in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic reached 1,298, as of June 1, 2020.
Some 404.2 million manat ($237.8 million) was allocated from all financial sources of the autonomous republic as part of investments in fixed assets from January through May 2020, which is 1.3 percent more than in 2019.
As reported, 384.1 million manat ($225.9 million) which makes up 95 percent of the funds allocated for the fixed assets accounted for construction and installation work.
