Google remained the most popular search engine in Azerbaijan with its 95.86 percent market share as of January 5, 2021, despite a 0.07 percent decrease over the month, Trend reports referring to the StatCounter’s Global Stats report.
The share of the Yandex search engine from December 2020 through January 5, 2020, grew by 0.06 percent and amounted to 2.3 percent.
At the same time, the share of the Yandex search engine in Azerbaijan as of late December 2020 made up 0.72 percent, having risen by 0.12 percent over the month.
As of Jan.5 this year, the share of the Yahoo search engine in the country's market lowered by 0.04 percent and equaled 0.4 percent.
The remaining part of the market amounted to 0.72 percent and was distributed among other search engines, including Mail.ru with 0.22 percent, a decrease of 0.11 percent.
