The price of monthly subscriptions for Microsoft 365 products will increase by 20 percent, the Azerbaijani office of Microsoft told Trend on Dec. 16.
According to the office, the increase will be due to incentives for corporate clients to switch to an annual subscription, the price of which will remain the same.
"The company hasn’t yet officially announced the price increase, but this is expected to occur in the first quarter of 2022," the office said.
The company added that the cost of a monthly subscription to Microsoft 365 Business Basic will increase to $6 (by $1), Microsoft 365 Business Premium - to $22 (increase by $2), Microsoft 365 E3 - to $36 (increase by $4), Office 365 E1 - $ 10 (increase by $2), Office 365 E3 - to $23 and Office 365 E5 premium - to $38 (both increase by $3).
Since the beginning of 2021, Microsoft shares have grown by 46 percent, bringing its market capitalization to over $2.4 trillion. The company's revenue growth for the last two reporting quarters has exceeded 20 percent in annual terms.
