BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 1. Russia's digital attaches are going to start working in Azerbaijan in 2024, Trend reports via the Russian media.

The Russian digital attaches are already working in 17 countries, and in 2023-2024 they will expand their activities.

"The Russian Information Technology Development Fund (RFRIT) will conduct the second wave of training in March 2023 for specialists who have passed all the stages of registration in the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia and are waiting to be sent to the host countries. In 2023, digital attaches will start working in Belarus, Brazil, Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan, Serbia, and Tajikistan, and in 2024 - in Azerbaijan, Algeria, Hungary, Peru, and Saudi Arabia," said the statement.

The digital attaches are full-time employees of trade missions of the Russian Federation abroad, who are entrusted to support Russian companies engaged in export activities.
