Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend S.Babayeva / Dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the construction of the first telephone line in Azerbaijan, a conference is planned to be held within the 13th Azerbaijan International "Communications and Information Technologies" Exhibition BakuTel -2007 scheduled to take place between 21 and 24 November.
The Press Service of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan reports that the Ministry held a meeting to discuss the plan of measures to hold professional day, 6 December, of the telecommunication workers.
Within the exhibition, a scientific-practical conference "Impact of the oil industry on the communications of Azerbaijan - since the activities of the Society of Nobel Brothers" will take place.
The conference will bring together the representatives of International Telecommunication Union, Regional Commonwealth in the field of Communications, other international organizations and leading IT companies.
The Ministry has prepared a stand on the ICT development history in Azerbaijan to attend the exhibition.
On 1 November the Ministry plans to hold the presentation of the film devoted to the IT development history in Azerbaijan.
