Russian airline launches new flight from Tatarstan to Tashkent

Russian airline Nordwind is to launch a new flight from Begishevo International Airport (Russia's Tatarstan) to Tashkent, Trend reports with the reference to the Ministry of Transport and Road Facilities of Tatarstan.

The new flight will start on March 16. Flights to Tashkent will be operated by Boeing 737-800 aircraft on Mondays. The total travel time is 2 hours 55 minutes. Minimum ticket price - from 7,652 rubles ($114.6) including all taxes and fees.

Ticket price includes hand luggage not more than 8 kg and the size of no more than 55x40x20 cm in three dimensions, as well as one baggage item weighing no more than 20 kg and the sum of three dimensions not more than 203 cm.

In Nordwind's route network, Tashkent will be another estination from Begishevo Airport after Moscow, Simferopol, Antalya.

As a result of the quarterly contest, the most punctual airlines interacting with the Begishevo Airport have been determined. Thus, the best result for the last three months of 2019 was shown by Aeroflot, Nordwind Airlines is second, Azimuth airline is third.

Earlier it was reported that Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov proposed to connect Kazan and Bukhara by a direct flight, which will promote business activity and growth of mutual tourist flow.
