The volume of export of goods by road from Azerbaijan amounted to 1.39 million tons in 2020, which is 0.96 percent less compared to 2019, Trend reports citing a report of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan (SCC).
Export cargo transportation by road was carried out in the amount of over $1.23 billion, an increase of 2.36 percent, said the report.
In total, Azerbaijan carried out cargo transportation by road worth about $7.5 billion, which is 2.2 percent less than in 2019.
Imports of goods by road during the reporting period amounted to more than 2.36 million tons, and in terms of money - over $6.2 billion, a decrease of 3 percent.
In 2020, cargo transportation in Azerbaijan was carried out in the amount of almost $24.5 billion, which is 26.5 percent less than in 2019.
