The Khojasan overground metro station will be commissioned in Azerbaijan till late 2022, Bakhtiyar Mammadov, spokesman for the Baku Metro CJSC, told Trend.
"The station is located on the "purple" line and the construction is at the final stage,” spokesman added. “The need to build this station has been stipulated by the rapid growth of the population in Khojasan settlement, as well as the adjacent districts. The construction work is being carried out at an accelerated pace."
Mammadov also said that the appropriate infrastructure will be created on the territory of the station for the repair and technical inspection of trains.
