Activities in Iran’s Noshahr port decline

The volume of cargo loaded and unloaded in the Noshahr port of the Mazandaran Province (northern Iran) decreased by 10 percent in the 4th month of the current Iranian year (June 22 through July 22, 2021), compared to the 3rd month of the current Iranian year (May 22 through June 21, 2021), Trend reports via the statistics of Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO).

According to the statistics, a total of 67,300 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in this port over the reporting month.

While in the 3rd month of the current Iranian year, 75,100 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in the port.

So, 2,240 tons of cargo were exported and 65,100 tons were imported through Noshahr port in the fourth month.

About 57,400 tons of essential products, 428 tons of equipment, vehicles, spare parts, 9,250 tons of leather goods, clothing, fibers, paper and wood materials, 210 tons of container products were loaded and unloaded in the Noshahr port in the 4th month of the current Iranian year.

As reported, about 12.5 million tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in Iranian ports in the fourth month of the current Iranian year. Of this, 6.99 million tons were loaded and 5.5 million tons were unloaded. This is an increase of 20.8 percent, compared to the same month last Iranian year.
