Volume of cargo loaded/unloaded in Iran’s Dayyer port grows

The volume of cargo loaded and unloaded in the Dayyer port of the Bushehr Province (southern Iran) increased by 60 percent in the 6th month of the current Iranian year (August 23 through September 22, 2021), compared to the 5th month (June 23 through August 22, 2021), Trend reports via the statistics of Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO).

According to the statistics, a total of 40,600 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in this port in the sixth month, of which, 29,800 tons were loaded and 10,800 tons were unloaded.

“Furthermore, about 29,600 tons of cargo were exported through the Dayyer port within the 6th month,” the statistics said.

At the same time, 283 tons of cargo were loaded and 10,800 tons were unloaded in the port for other purposes.

So, 2,740 tons of small and assorted goods and about 37,900 tons of container products were loaded and unloaded in Iran’s Dayyer port in the 6th month of the current Iranian year.

As reported, about 11.3 million tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in Iranian ports in the sixth month of the current Iranian year. Of this, 5.98 million tons were loaded and 5.35 million tons were unloaded. This is an increase of 2 percent compared to the same month last Iranian year.
