BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 20. The volume of cargo loaded and unloaded in the Jask port of the Hormozgan Province (southern Iran) increased by 16.8 percent in the 12th month of the last Iranian year (February 20 through March 20, 2022), compared to the 11th month (January 21 through February 19, 2022), Trend reports via the statistics of Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO)
According to the statistics, more than 12,500 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in this port in the 12th month.
So, 10,100 tons of cargo were exported and 2,410 tons were imported through the Jask port over the 12th month.
“About 10,100 tons of essential products and 2,410 tons of container products were loaded and unloaded in the Jask port in the 12th month of the current Iranian year,” the statistics said.
About 12.2 million tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in Iranian ports in the 12th month of the last Iranian year. Of this, 6.2 million tons were loaded and 5.98 million tons were unloaded. This is a decrease of 5.3 percent, compared to the same month of the preceding Iranian year.
