BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 16. The number of passenger planes flying over Iran increased by 68 percent, in the 1st month of the current Iranian year (March 21 through April 20, 2022), compared to the same month last Iranian year, as was reflected in the statistics of Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company (IAC), Trend reports.

According to the statistics, more than 19,100 passenger planes flew over Iran within the first month.

Meanwhile in the same month last Iranian year, this figure stood at over 11,400.
