BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 31. Production of passenger cars in Kazakhstan amounted to 10,522 units in June 2022, which is 69.5 percent more than in the same month the previous year and 16.1 percent more than in May 2022, Trend reports via Kazakhstan Statistics Committee.
According to the committee, passenger car production in Kazakhstan amounted to 46,972 units from January through June 2022, which is 35.8 percent more than in the same period last year.
Kazakhstan imported 5,026 passenger cars in June 2022, which is 32.9 percent less than in June 2021 and 16.4 less than in May 2022.
Kazakhstan imported 26,884 passenger cars from January through June 2022, which is 35 percent less than in the same period the previous year.
Kazakhstan exported 935 passenger cars in June 2022, which is 36.7 percent less than in June 2021 and two times more than in May 2022. Kazakhstan exported 4,169 passenger cars from January through June 2022, which is 11.1 percent more than in the same period last year.
A total of 14,643 passenger cars were sold on Kazakhstan's domestic market in June 2022, which is 19.6 percent more than in June 2021 and 13.3 percent more than in May 2022.
Overall 69, 688 passenger cars were sold on Kazakhstan's domestic market from January through June 2022, which is 3.5 percent less than in the same period the previous year.
