Turkmen companies to introduce digital systems in logistics with Baltic colleagues

BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 21. Turkmen Logistics Association has signed memorandums of understanding with the Latvian Association and Lithuanian National Association of freight forwarders and logistics, Trend reports.

According to the official source Turkmenistan, the signing of documents aimed at the development of the TRACECA transport corridor took place as part of a working trip of representatives of the Turkmen Association to Latvia and Lithuania, where meetings were held with colleagues from Central Asian countries.

The introductory meeting was held with the support of USAID and the Union of transport workers of Kazakhstan - Kazlogistics.

Meanwhile, during the meeting, an agreement was reached on the development and implementation of projects for the introduction of digital systems in the field of logistics, and a proposal was also made for the regular organization of joint discussions with experts from different countries.

Officials of transport and logistics companies expressed hope that the actions taken in the development of the TRACESA project will have a positive impact on the interconnectedness between Asia, the Caucasus, and Europe.
