Issues relating to the Kazakh armed forces were discussed during a Defense Ministry meeting in Astana.
According to the information, the results of the spring call-up campaign, training and military discipline, and level of physical training in the Armed Forces were discussed during the meeting chaired by Minister Adilbek Jaksybekov.
The representatives of ministry of health, deputy governors from regions, Astana and Almaty, who are the heads of regional draft boards and chairmen of medical boards attended the meeting.
He added that one of the priorities of the country's Armed Forces is to increase the quality indices of combat and operational training of troops.
The army is focusing on training personnel, he said.
