Tajikistan is an important partner of Kazakhstan, Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev said at a meeting with Tajik counterpart Emomali Rahmon as part of the SCO summit in Dushanbe, Akorda reported.
"During the meeting, the two leaders discussed key aspects of bilateral trade-economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian cooperation," the presidential press-service said. "President Nazarbayev stressed that the Republic of Tajikistan is an important partner of our country and Kazakhstan is always ready to fully support it."
The two leaders discussed the issues of bilateral cooperation as part of the regional and international organizations. Moreover, the two sides exchanged views on relevant issues of the international agenda.
