BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 21. The size of state subsidies for insurance premiums to support agricultural producers in Kazakhstan has been proposed to increase, Trend reports via the country's government.

The issue was discussed at a meeting of the Kazakh Cabinet of Ministers on additional anti-crisis measures.

The meeting participants noted that the government is closely monitoring the influence of foreign economic and geopolitical factors on the Kazakh agricultural producers.

Besides, the participants proposed to introduce a number of new support measures to stimulate the development of Kazakh companies and reduce the administrative burden.

Thus, within the framework of public procurement, it was proposed to work out mechanisms for non-registration of unscrupulous suppliers of those companies which encountered force majeure circumstances (closure of logistics corridors, disruption of supplies, and others) during the performance of their obligations.

At the same time, the proposal to expand the preferential leasing of domestic agricultural machinery was supported.

The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Alikhan Smailov supported the above proposals, instructing to work out the issues of their implementation.
