BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 16. 'Samruk-Kazyna' JSC Sovereign Welfare Fund will cut the share in KazMunayGas (KMG) and QazaqGaz JSC to get them to initial public offering (IPO) by 2025, Chairman of the Board of Samruk-Kazyna Almassadam Satkaliyev said, Trend reports via Kazakh media.
“Currently, Samruk-Kazyna is getting KazMunayGas ready for the IPO on the local KASE and AIX exchanges. The road show is supposed to start in Kazakhstan's cities to engage the general population. Our task is to ensure awareness and maximum coverage of the population,” Satkaliyev stated.
According to him, the Fund is expected to hold the IPO for KMG, AirAstana, QazaqGaz, and Kazakhstan Railways, as well as to prepare Kazakhstan Electricity Grid Operating Company (KEGOC) for the secondary public offering (SPO) by 2025.
