(Kazinform) - It is essential to increase the share of Kazakhstans presence in the subsoil use service market from 30% to 50% for the extracting industry sector forms a significant part of the countrys GDP, Kazakhstan Vice Minister of Industry and Trade Askar Batalov said at todays sitting of the working group for the development of local potential at the subsoil use market, reports Trend.
Purchase of goods and services at the home market will let stockholders of subsurface management companies reduce original cost and expand their dividends, Batalov stressed.
Government of Kazakhstan inserts amendments to law on resources and subsoil use, law on oil and other regulatory acts in order to create equal conditions for local and foreign suppliers of goods and services, and to enlarge Ministrys power.
The above-mentioned working group is to elaborate a state program for the development of Kazakhstans presence.
