Kyrgyz Social Development Minister Ravshan Sabirov has been charged with extorting bribes, his lawyer Kuvanychbek Tashbaltayev told KyrTAG on Friday.
"Today at 15:00 Ravshan Sabirov was accused of extorting bribes on a large scale," Tashbaltayev said.
According to him, currently Sabirov is in Pervomai district court, which a decision will be made on the measure of restraint against his client.
It should be recalled that Minister of Social Development Sabirov, is detained and placed in jail of the State National Security Committee as a suspect of the criminal case of bribe extortion.
The criminal case was filed by Prosecutor General's Office on June 30 under Article 313, Part 2, paragraph 1 (Extortion of bribes on a large scale) of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan.
