President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov signed the law of the Kyrgyz Republic on ratification of the agreement on cooperation of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States in the field of Information Security, signed on Nov.20, 2013 in the city of St. Petersburg, Kabar with reference to the press service of the President's Office reported.
The law was passed by Kyrgyz Parliament on January 25, 2018.
The agreement provides for joint coordinated activities aimed at ensuring information security in the CIS member states.
In accordance with this Agreement, the sides shall organize interaction and cooperation in the approximation of the legislation of the CIS member states, regulating relations in the field of ensuring information security, conducting analysis and assessment of threats to information security and information systems.
The law enters into force in ten days after the day of its official publication.
