BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 22. Kyrgyz Stock Exchange's trading volume significantly increased in June 2022, Trend reports with reference to the monthly review of the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange.
Trading volume on the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange amounted to 1.1 billion soms ($14.6 million) in June 2022, which is a fourfold increase compared to the same month of last year (293.4 million soms, or $3.6 million).
The total amount of trading on the primary market in the reporting period reached 988 million soms ($12.4 million), which is four times more than in June 2021 (242.2 million soms, or $3 million).
Meanwhile, on the secondary market, the trading volume in June 2022 totaled 179.3 million soms ($2.2 million), which is 3.5 times more compared to 51.2 million soms ($643,216) in the corresponding month of last year.
