Kyrgyzstan discloses volume of glass containers exports to France

BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 18. Kyrgyzstan exported 46,440 glass containers to France for $7,000 in January 2023, while there is no data on the glass container exports to France for the same period of 2022, Trend reports with reference to the State Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan.

According to the statistics, during the reporting period, Kyrgyzstan exported glass containers to Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Finland and France.

In comparison, Kyrgyzstan exported glass containers only to Kazakhstan in January 2022, the committee said.

The main buyer of the glass containers from Kyrgyzstan in January 2023 was Kazakhstan. The country imported from Kyrgyzstan 292,181 glass containers for $55,500.

Kyrgyzstan also exported 266,560 glass containers for $58,500 to Uzbekistan in the first month of 2023, and some 39,900 glass containers for $16,000 to Finland.

In total, Kyrgyzstan exported 645,081 glass containers for $137,100 in January 2023, which is an increase of 7 times compared to 91,476 glass containers in January 2022.

The value of the glass container exports totaled $137,100 in January 2023, increasing by 45 times over $3,200 in the same period of 2022.

Meanwhile, Kyrgyzstan’s trade turnover with France amounted to $2.4 million in January 2023, which is a decrease of 2 times compared to January 2022 ($5 million).

The value of exports from Kyrgyzstan to France reached $72,800, increasing by 1.3 times over $53,400 in January 2022.

The value of Kyrgyzstan’s imports from France made up $2.3 million, decreasing by 2.1 times compared to $5 million in the same month of 2022.
