BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 30. The main trade partners of Kyrgyzstan in 2022 were China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Türkiye, and Uzbekistan, Trend reports via the State Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan.

According to the statistics, China was the biggest trade partner of Kyrgyzstan in the reporting period. Trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and China amounted to $4.1 billion in 2022, which is 2.7 times more than in 2021 ($1.5 billion).

The second-largest trade partner of Kyrgyzstan in 2022 was Russia. The trade turnover between the countries amounted to $3.2 billion in 2022, which is 40 percent more than $2.3 billion in 2021.

Kazakhstan took third place as the trade partner of Kyrgyzstan in 2022. The trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan reached $1.1 billion in 2022, which is an increase from $1 billion in 2021.

Türkiye became Kyrgyzstan’s fourth-largest trading partner in 2022. The trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and Türkiye amounted to $628.9 million last year, which is 52 percent more than in 2021 ($412.2 million).

Finally, the fifth-largest trading partner of Kyrgyzstan in 2022 was Uzbekistan. The trade turnover between the two countries in the reporting period totaled $599 million, which is an increase of 20 percent over 2021 ($496 million).

In total, the value of Kyrgyzstan's foreign trade turnover amounted to $11.8 billion in 2022, which is 41 percent more than in 2021 ($8.3 billion).
