BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 24. A new tile and ceramic production plant called Asyl Tash Plus will be launched in the Chuy region in the northern part of Kyrgyzstan in 2024, Trend reports.
According to the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, the production launch of the plant is scheduled for 2024, with a total investment volume of $34.6 million. The Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund will allocate a total of $25 million for the project.
The project envisions the initial stage of the plant creating job opportunities for over 400 people, with plans to expand further in the second stage and create a thousand jobs.
The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Akylbek Japarov, visited the construction site of the plant and gained insight into the construction of a new autoclaved aerated concrete plant, as well as the ongoing activities of the Kant TSP plant, which produces facade fiber cement sheets and slate.
During his visit, Japarov emphasized that supporting domestic manufacturers is a top priority for the Cabinet of Ministers and highlighted the substantial increase in the charter capitals of state banks and the establishment of development funds as significant steps in this endeavor.
