BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, September 19. The Ministry of Finance of Kyrgyzstan expects that the real GDP growth rate in the country will reach 5 percent in 2024, Trend reports.

The real GDP growth rates are expected to be at 4.7 percent in 2025 and 4.3 percent in 2026. The Ministry anticipates that these figures will be achieved through growth in the industrial sector: in 2024 by 3.9 percent, in 2025 by 3.5 percent, and in 2026 by 1.7 percent.

Additionally, in the service sector, growth is expected to be 5.1 percent in 2024 and 2025, and 4.9 percent in 2026.

Growth in the construction sector is expected at 8.5 percent in 2024, 8.3 percent in 2025 and 8.1 percent in 2026.

The growth in agriculture is expected at 2.5 percent in 2024 and 2025, and 2.7 percent in 2026.

At the same time, the EDB (Eurasian Development Bank) expects GDP growth in Kyrgyzstan to reach 4.2 percent by the end of 2023. EDB analysts believe that this acceleration in GDP growth will be driven by increased production of basic metals in November and December 2023.

Kyrgyzstan's GDP growth rate rose to 3.3 percent year-on-year from January through August 2023, up from 2.9 percent year-on-year from January through July 2023.

In 2022, Kyrgyzstan's GDP growth rate reached 7 percent, with the total value reaching 919 billion soms ($10 billion).
