BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, March 22. Kyrgyzstan imported 13,670 passenger cars in January 2024, which is 2.1 times more than in the corresponding month of 2023 (6,248 cars), Trend reports.
According to Kyrgyzstan's State Statistical Committee, the value of imports reached $221.202 million, up 2.3 times from January 2023 ($94.930 million).

Kyrgyzstan's foreign trade turnover totaled $1.168 billion in January 2024, a 36.8 percent increase over January 2023. Exports totaled $181.3 million, representing a 46.6 percent rise year on year. Imports grew 35.1 percent from January 2023 to $987.5 million.
