DUSHANBE, Tajikistan, December 16. President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon has officially inaugurated a manufacturing plant for construction materials in the industrial zone of the Yavan district in the Khatlon region, Trend reports.
The president's press service noted that, the company produces four varieties of drywall measuring 1 meter 20 centimeters in width and 2 meters 50 centimeters in length, according to the president's press staff. The plant's yearly output capacity is 30 million square meters of drywall. Furthermore, it manufactures 2.4 million paster ceilings (armstrong) per month, each measuring 60 by 60 cm.
Furthermore, the facility manufactures ten different types of metal profiles and supports, with a monthly capacity of 32 tons of metal profiles and fastenings on this specific line.
This new industrial enterprise's whole line of construction materials meets with international and global standards.
Covering an area of 5.2 hectares, the new industrial facility houses technological lines imported from Germany and China, managed by Tajik specialists.
The establishment of this new manufacturing enterprise has provided permanent employment for 230 individuals, many of whom are local residents.
