Turkmenistan’s 1H2021 cotton export to Estonia revealed

Some 15 tons of cotton worth 25,670 Euros were exported from Turkmenistan to Estonia from January through June 2021, Eurostat told Trend.

According to the information, the total volume of goods Turkmenistan exported to Estonia in 1H2021 in value terms amounted to 28,102 Euros, while in physical terms it amounted to 17 tons.

It is reported that during the reporting period export of Turkmen goods to Estonia also fell on preparations of vegetables, fruit and nuts amounting to 2,432 Euros in value terms and two tons.

At the same time, in 1H2021 Estonia exported to Turkmenistan goods worth 190,258 Euros in the amount of 61 tons.

It is noted that the largest volume of goods Estonia exported to Turkmenistan accounted for vehicles other than railway or tramway rolling stock, and parts and accessories, which amounted to 78,000 Euros.

In addition, in 1H2021 Estonia exported to Turkmenistan electrical machinery and equipment worth 73,079 Euros and paper and paperboard – for 35,682 Euros.

In general, the total volume of goods imported by EU countries from Turkmenistan in 1H2021 accounted for 240 million Euros in the amount of 6.1 million tons.

At the same time, Turkmenistan during the reporting period imported from EU countries goods worth 275 million Euros in the amount of 239,737 tons.
