BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 19. Turkmenistan’s Seydi Oil Refinery (SOR) produced about 220,000 tons of gasoline from January through March 2022, Trend reports with reference to the Business Turkmenistan information portal.
During this period, the factory produced more than 135,000 tons of diesel fuel.
The refinery also manufactured about 22,500 tons of fuel oil and almost 35,000 tons of road bitumen.
Furthermore, the annual capacity of the factory is designed to produce up to 500,000 tons of gasoline.
Turkmenistan ranks among the world's leading countries in terms of oil and gas reserves. Its gas reserves have increased by 126 billion cubic meters as a result of the industrial development of recently discovered gas fields. At the same time, the country pays great attention to the creation of oil and gas processing plants, as well as the export of energy resources to world markets.
