BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 23. A large livestock complex located in the Dashoguz region in north Turkmenistan has increased production within the period of January through June 2022, Trend reports with reference to Jeyhun News.
During this period, the enterprise manufactured 77 tons of meat products. This is almost twice as much as in the same period last year.
The livestock complex also manufactured 2,700 tons of milk, 152 tons of fermented dairy products, 64 tons of butter and 45 tons of cheese in the first half of 2022.
Furthermore, at the moment a lot of work is being done in Turkmenistan to develop animal husbandry, increase the number of livestock, manufacture meat and dairy products, and strengthen the feed base of the industry. The improvement of local livestock enterprises continues.
Most of the livestock production accounts for the private sector of Turkmenistan.
