BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 26. A cotton spinning mill located in the Kunya-Urgench district of the Dashoguz region in the north of Turkmenistan has published indicators of cotton yarn production from January through June 2022, Trend reports with reference to Jeyhun News.
During this period, the enterprise produced 2,030 tons of cotton yarn of various sizes.
In value terms, in the first half of this year, the factory manufactured products worth 18.4 million Turkmen manats ($5.2 million).
With the increasing dynamics of the construction of industrial and social facilities in Turkmenistan, the industry is becoming one of the major sectors of the economy, which is given an important role in the implementation of import substitution programs and increasing the export potential of the state.
