BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 3. Entrepreneurs of the Lebap region in the east of Turkmenistan produced 114.6 tons of meat and 124.8 tons of sausage products from January through July 2022, Trend reports with reference to Jeyhun News.
Private enterprises in the region doubled their production last year, supplying 323 tons of meat to local markets, which is 164 tons more than in 2020.
Furthermore, at the moment a lot of work is being done in Turkmenistan to develop animal husbandry, increase the number of livestock, manufacture meat and dairy products, and strengthen the feed base of the industry. The improvement of local livestock enterprises continues.
Most of the livestock production is accounted for by the private sector of Turkmenistan.
