BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 4. Turkmenistan exported goods worth 2.33 million euros to Belgium from January through February 2023, the source at Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union, told Trend.
According to the information, these figures in the reporting period are 15.8 times more than in the first two months of last year (146,070 euros).
The trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Belgium from January through February 2023 amounted to over 6.96 million euros, which is 2.2 times more than in the same months of 2022 (3.07 million euros).
Turkmenistan increased imports from Belgium in the first two months of this year by 58 percent compared to January through February 2022 (2.93 million euros) - up to 4.63 million euros.
Meanwhile, the trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Belgium in 2022 amounted to 38.32 million euros, which is 2.4 times more than in 2021 (15.93 billion euros).
In general, the trade turnover between Turkmenistan and the EU countries n the first two months of 2023 amounted to over 118.36 million euros, which is 27.3 percent less than the same indicator in 2022 (162.86 million euros).
